I love to explore beautiful locations with couples, whether that is a special spot close to home or an adventure in the mountains or at the ocean. The best locations have a mix of scenery that enhances the natural emotion in your photos and gives your final gallery a beautiful variety of images.
where should we have our photos taken?
Unless it's overcast, sessions take place during golden hour (the hour before sunset) in order to infuse your photos with gooey golden light.
what time of day do sessions take placE?
Don't worry- you don't have to know what to do. I'll gently guide you every step of the way with a mix of fun and intimate prompts to draw out your natural, unique connection with each other and capture beautiful images along the way.
we feel awkward in front of the camera. is that a problem?
I've got you covered! Styling is important, that's why every session includes customized styling support and outfit recommendations so that you show up feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to enjoy a beautiful evening with your partner.
what should we wear?
The sooner the better ESPECIALLY if you have a specific timeframe and location in mind. Seasonal shoots (wildflowers, mountain fall foliage, etc.) have limited openings and book up fast. For non-seasonal shoots I recommend at least 4 weeks to allow for plenty of time to order outfits, etc.
how far in advance should we book a session?
Nope! I love to photograph love at all stages- whether you are newly in love, getting married, in the midst of parenthood, or celebrating 10, 20, 30+ years together. Whatever season of life you are in, your love deserves to be seen, celebrated, and documented.
do you only photograph engagements?

I am not a Washington State native and was visiting from out of state. Meredith was very responsive and provided so many helpful details for planning this family shoot during a busy trip. She was very warm, friendly, and easy to work with. She was calming and knew just what to do when I accidentally stumbled over a piece of driftwood on the beach. She made it work, provided me with a new sweater (mine was saturated), assured me that this look would blend with the photos (it did), and calmed my nerves which were a bit more heightened than usual. Our photos turned out great and we can't wait to cherish them for years to come! If we take more family trips to Washington, we'd be happy to use Meredith again!
