I am not a Washington State native and was visiting from out of state. Meredith was very responsive and provided so many helpful details for planning this family shoot during a busy trip. She was very warm, friendly, and easy to work with. She was calming and knew just what to do when I accidentally stumbled over a piece of driftwood on the beach. She made it work, provided me with a new sweater (mine was saturated), assured me that this look would blend with the photos (it did), and calmed my nerves which were a bit more heightened than usual. Our photos turned out great and we can't wait to cherish them for years to come! If we take more family trips to Washington, we'd be happy to use Meredith again!

This is Washington! We'll keep an eye on the forecast together and if it's looking drizzly we can decide whether to embrace the weather (hello dreamy moody ambiance!) or make adjustments if needed. For the best chance of avoiding rain I recommend booking a summer session- my personal favorite time of year for photos!
what if it rains?
The sooner the better ESPECIALLY if you have a specific date and location in mind. In general though I recommend 4+ weeks to allow for plenty of time to order outfits, etc. for stress-free session planning. Head to my booking calendar to see availability.
how far in advance should we book a session?
Yes! Every session includes styling guidance, planning support, and personalized location recommendations.
do you help with outfits and locations?
Unless it's overcast, sessions take place during golden hour (the hour before sunset) in order to infuse your photos with gooey golden light.
I’m a Tacoma-based family and adventure photographer, wife, mom, and lifelong lover of the Pacific Northwest. You'll usually find me chasing sunsets, exploring Washington's beaches and mountains, or documenting my own family's adventures—the same people, places, and moments that inspire the way I photograph yours.
My favorite images aren’t the perfectly posed ones- they’re the ones that bring you right back to a feeling. The laughter you forgot about. The sweet and silly expressions of your kids at a particular age. The season of life that felt ordinary at the time, but means everything now.
My sessions are relaxed, playful, and lightly guided, creating space for real moments to unfold naturally.
